In-language counselling
The foundation works with and funds several organisations, embedded in the Arabic, Chinese and Vietnamese-speaking communities, to provide in-language services within their communities.
A range of counselling support, community education and financial counselling services are provided in Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin and Vietnamese, as well as English.
Providing support to people from all backgrounds and cultures is important to us. If you speak a language not listed here, your local Gambler's Help service may have a counsellor who speaks your language; translators are available for free upon request. Please ask when you contact Gambler's Help.
In addition, a telephone-only service, Chinese Peer Connection, provides Chinese speakers with the option to talk anonymously to other Chinese speakers who have experienced and worked through harm from gambling.
Please call or email these organisations before visiting in person. They will still provide you support on the telephone or email, but offices may be closed to visits in person due to COVID-19.
