Scott's story

It all started with a few good wins. I won around $5000 in my first week betting on sports and racing. I lost all of it in the following three weeks. It seems like an easy way to make money, seems like you will always end up on top.

I nearly made up all my losses earlier this week. Was only down roughly $1500. Now it's the end of the week and I'm down $10,000. I must stop here. It gets out of hand so quickly and you just don't realise. It's selfish to bet, it puts everyone in your life second to yourself.

It's a waste of time and it benefits nobody.

Please, to anyone who thinks they have a problem, only bet what you can afford to lose.

I still have roughly $45,000 in savings but I worry it might go too.
