I have been gambling since about the age of 19. I am 34 years old.

There have been 4–5 months where I do not gamble, then it just starts and stops.

I have played plenty of online black jack/casinos, pokies etc.

Typical big wins, of $2000–$6000, stays in the account for a while then bang ... withdrawals after withdrawals.

I feel I can win just a few hands and then cash out ... But it never happens, win the hands in black jack yes, but I thought it was all about discipline, but its not.

The ability to cash out when you should, but I never do and instead I'm down, about $10,000 every year.

I feel, its all good, nice house, car, wife, son, but I let this gambling get the better of me.

I have a good job paying about $140,000 a year, yet I always want a quick extra buck.

Time to make a pledge and stop.

It's much more fun having $100 in your pocket, being happy, instead of being depressed and losing money.
