Worried Mother's story

My son is a lovely person and I am very proud of him. He gambles on horse racing regularly and even though he has a good job that pays well he has no money.

I have tried to talk to him but just can't seem to make him understand. He is 31 years old and still living at home. He spends hours studying the form guide, and wastes most of his income betting.

He hasn't gone into debt yet but at the rate he is going it is only a matter of time. I want to help him but what can I do. He doesn't think he has a problem, how can I make him see that he is ruining his life?

I love him and want to help but just don't know what to do.
