Reset trial

Thank you for volunteering your time to be a participant in the trial release of Reset.

Reset has been built and tested by clinicians and app developers to be easy to use, interactive, self-directed, and practical. However, it is also important that Reset is tested by the very people the app has been designed to help.

The Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation is conducting a trial release of the Reset app in a web version before it becomes available to the wider community via app stores.

A select group of participants will take part in the trial release of Reset to help identify any issues around accessibility and ease of use.

We look forward hearing your feedback about your experience with Reset.

How to begin:

Please navigate to the registration page and create an account using your username (alias), email and password.

You will then be prompted to validate your account by using a link in an email sent from noreply@ghplatform.com.au to your nominated email address.

Once validated, you will be able to progress to the Reset onboarding questions.

The onboarding section asks a series of questions to understand your gambling and your goal for using Reset. It takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Please note the section prompting for research opt in will not be used during the beta test. Please select ‘no’ and continue to the next section.

After you have set your goal for Reset and completed onboarding, you’ll see a quick tutorial on the app's menu and features. You are now able to use the app!

Over the next 14 days, please aim to spend at least four hours achieving the following tasks:

  • At least three daily check-ins
  • Complete at least three activities from My Program.
  • Complete at least two recommended activities
  • Review results of completed activities.

App usage and feedback data collected from users during this trial release will be analysed as part of the trial release review. Upon completion of the review, all collected data related to the app and telephone interviews will be erased.

You can ask for a full copy of our privacy policy from the privacy officer. Questions or concerns can also be raised with the privacy officer.
